Introducing the all-new Epson SureColor S8170 -SPEC SHEET

The SC-S8170 comes with Epson’s own Edge Print Pro print management software, which enables the creation of professional displays for billboards, wallpaper, car wrapping and POS materials. With 6 colors, including CMYK, light cyan and light magenta, the SC-S8170 helps customers achieve a wider color spectrum.

The SC-S8170 is a compact 64-inch Eco-Solvent printer, specifically designed for small, medium and large production businesses involved in signage, wallpaper production and direct printing onto media such as clear film, vinyl, canvas and photo paper. Equipped with the new user-replaceable PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead, the SC-S8170 delivers increased productivity, complemented by an additional curing system that ensures prints are cured before they reach the take-up unit. The addition of a new green ink expands the color gamut and provides smoother gradations.

The SC-S8170’s compact design is ideal for spaces with limited height and allows for easy status checks of multiple units. The new flat-top design gives users extra work space to place a laptop connected to the printer, while the transparent cover makes it easy to check print status and quality. A special lever secures the media during loading; the large opening makes media setup and user maintenance easy. Epson Cloud Solution Port enables remote monitoring and management via ECSP.

User-replaceable printhead: For the first time, Epson has introduced a user-replaceable printhead to its EcoSolvent printer range, reducing downtime and maintenance costs and ensuring continuous production.

Compact and user-friendly design: Based on the new LFP platform, the SC-S8170 features a compact and simple yet highly functional design that enhances the working environment.
